Graduated in 2002 followed by a research doctorate in pharmacology, both at Hanover Vet School/Germany Andrea spent some years in general veterinary practice in the UK. After that she worked at the Royal Veterinary College for 8 years, part of which she received specialist training in dermatology and worked as a specialist dermatologist before moving onto private referral practice.

Andrea enjoys looking after skin patients and their owners to manage these often chronic and frustrating diseases. Her special interests are atopic disease, with emphasis on food hypersensitivity and ear disease as well as the feline patient. She has a particular interest in progressing the understanding of the immunology of the intestine and skin.
